A maximum of 75 items of which only 20 may be classified as "New",may be checked out on a patron’s card at any time. A maximum of 3 A/V items per type of A/V material: CD, DVD, video, and 5 audio books, per card may be checked out. Only one eBook and one Otis Digital Audio Player may be checked out per Adult patron card at any one time.
Renewals
If there are no reserves on an item, new books, periodicals and all AV materials may be renewed in person, over the phone or on-line one (1) time. Other materials may be renewed twice.
Holds
Only Wayne residents may reserve the following items owned by the WPL: "New" Audio/Visual (A/V) materials and “New” Adult books.
Items not found on shelves may be reserved in person, by phone or on-line.
Items may be picked up at the Main Library or Preakness branch where they will be held for pick-up for 3 days.
