|  | Placing a Hold for Materials OnlineWayne Public Library users may place holds on materials by using library catalog computers within the library or online by visiting the Wayne Public Library Web Site.Online, visit the library web site at  http://www.waynepubliclibrary.org go to the Catalog link on the menu at the top of the screen. You will then be directed to the library catalog.
Search the library catalog by entering a title, author, or keyword and choosing the appropriate index to search by selecting from the drop-down box of indexes. Select the library you want to search by using the drop down box.
Once you have found the title that you want, click on Details to view this selection, if the item is checked out, click on the Place Hold button on the left side of the screen. Follow the prompts to enter your library card's barcode without spaces and your 4 Digit PIN number. Select the library where you wish to pick up your materials. Click the Place Hold button and your hold has been placed.
