The Wayne Public Library was chosen as a test library for the Lending Library product which is a USB hard drive and containing a copy of the newly released Version 7 Edition of the Early Literacy Station (ELS). Library patrons can check out this product from the library and enjoy ELS at home on their computer. Version 7 of the ELS is a total learning solution that includes 50 software titles and a child-safe internet browser (ELF – Early Learning Fun) has been added to the interface, giving users accessibility to hundreds of safe, engaging websites carefully vetted by AWE. We have 4 of the Lending Library products in the Children’s Department for patrons to check out for two weeks.
