Registration begins Monday, January 23, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. All registrations will be done at the Main Library in person or by phone: 973-694-4272 Ext. 5301. Story Time sessions begin the week of February 6th, 2012 and continue through the week of April 23rd, 2012. Programs are open to Wayne residents only with a valid Wayne Library card. Space is limited, children may be registered for only one story time. New registrations will be accepted until the mid-way point of the Fall session. There will be no Story Times held from February 20-22, 2012 or from April 9-11, 2012, since Wayne Schools are closed. Once a session has begun, no one will be admitted. Sessions will be held if two or more children are in attendance. If you cannot attend weekly Story Times, please inform the Children's Department staff, so that others on the waiting list may attend. | | | | | Kids Helping Kids
Tuesdays & Wednesdays 3:00 - 4:30 p.m.
Tutoring services by the Wayne Valley High School National Honors Society will take place in the Children's Department of the Main Library for the middle school and high school students who attend Wayne schools. Students may attend one or both days. Sessions will not be held when there there is no school in Wayne.

Thursdays, February 9th & 23rd, 2012: 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Children ages 5 through 10 will read to a trained therapy dog. This dog will not criticize or correct, but will patiently allow the child to read at his or her own pace.
Each child will read from his or her own book for approximately 10 - 15 minutes.
For the February 9th session, registration begins Thursday January 19th.
For the February 23rd session, registration begins Thursday, February 9th.

To promote healthy teeth in Dental Health Month, Dr. Ernesta Parisi, a local dentist will present a program of stories and information on tooth care, with giveaways.
Children ages 3 through 5 may register beginning Monday, February 13, 2012.
