Quiet Study Rooms Policy

  •  The Wayne Public Library maintains two quiet study rooms at the Main Library for the use by the public on a first come first serve basis.

  • The Fred Meyers Quiet Study Room can either be used by an individual or a study group that does not exceed the available seating.

  • The large study room is for use by individuals that need either a quiet study carrel area or a large table to work at.  The maximum number of individual users in the large study room cannot exceed the available seating.

  • Persons wishing to use a quiet study room are required to sign in at the Reference Desk.  The Reference staff will then unlock the door.  When a patron is finished with the study room they need to sign out at the Reference Desk.

  • Both quiet study rooms are Wi-Fi enabled.
