Adult Summer Reading Program - Monday, June 22, 2026 at 9:00 AM - Monday, August 19, 2026 at 5:00 PM  (Pre-registration will begin on June 15th.)


Adult Summer Reading Rules:

*You must be a Wayne Resident and have an active Wayne library card and be 18 years of age and up.

*Beginning Monday, June 15, 2026 at 9:00 AM, you may register at the Adult Reference Desk to pick up your reading log and receive a goody bag, while supplies last!  One Reading Log per person is permitted.  

*All you have to do is read a book, magazine, listen to an audiobook or watch a DVD by using items from our collection or from one of our PALS Plus Digital resources!

*Log each library material on your reading log tickets. You will have 4 chances to win a prize! Complete each ticket section to enter it in one of the lottery prize boxes, clip each completed ticket off your log to enter. 

When you’re ready to turn in your tickets, you will place your name, contact information and library card number on each fully completed ticket and enter them in one of the lottery prize boxes. You will have 4 chances to win!

Return your completed tickets by August 19, 2026 at 5:00 PM to be entered in the prize drawings! Good luck!

Our Pre-School through Kids Summer Reading Program is open to Wayne children ages 2 – entering grade 5th begins on Monday, June 22, 2026 at 9:00 AM - Monday, August 19, 2026 at 5:00 PM .

Children Ages 2 - entering grade 5 can pre-register by picking up their reading log beginninng June 15th.
