Wayne Public Library provides many educational and entertaining programs. Check back often to see what's happening at the library.

Library Event Calendars

All events and programs are listed in the library's event calendars. A variety of calendars  are available to view programs and events.

Lunchbox Learning

On the second and fourth Wednesday of every month, except in July and August, the Friends of the Wayne Public Library sponsor a “Lunchbox Learning Program”.  Professional musicians, actors, dancers and lecturers provide entertainment or vital information in a one hour program from 12:30 to 1:30 pm.  Doors open at 12:00 Noon for refreshments.  All programs are free of charge and the building is ADA compliant.  For further information contact Deborah Rosenblatt x5408.

Other Programs

Occasionally, the Wayne Public Library will sponsor other programs, similar to the Lunchbox Learning Programs, but held in the evening or on the weekend. All programs are free of charge and the building is ADA compliant.  For further information contact Deborah Rosenblatt x5408.

Art Exhibits

The Wayne Public Library has various individuals and groups come display their works of art.  Theses works are displayed on the wall of the entrance/exit, in a case next to the Children's Room main entrance, in a case in the Children's Room and in a case at the Preakness Branch Library.   If you would like to display a collection of art or collectible items, please contact Candy at 973-694-4272 Ext. 5116.
