Programs are held at the Main branch of the Wayne Public Library & Wayne residents get preference for sign-up availability. Registration can be done online by visiting the Event Calendar above, beginning at the designated time on the registration date.

NOTE: If you are unable to attend a program, please kindly call the library in advance. This will allow others on the waiting list to attend the program, as well as prevent waste of materials.

TEEN TECH HELPERS: Young Adults in grades 5—12 interested in volunteering their time & tech skills should register online or contact Lisa to enlist.

Giant Word Winder

Get ready for some team fun! WORD WINDER is the game of winding words. Lay down your chips to form winding lines of words connecting one side of the board to the other. Outrace your opponents and block their lines. Teams encounter offense and defense challenges as well as creating temporary alliances.

Open to Young Adults & kids in 3rd through 8th grade. Online registration starts Thursday, January 10th at 7:00 AM.



Teen Knitting Club

Y.A.s in grades 5—12, are you interested in learning how to knit? Come join us as we relax and learn the basics together. Feel free to bring in your own knitting needles & yarn.

Rubber Band Racer

Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 5:00—5:45 PM

Young Adults in grades 4—12 are you up for the challenge? Come and create a race car that is propelled by a non-traditional power source. We will use a rubber band to power the racer, creating an energy source that can be used indefinitely. The ultimate challenge will be accurately stopping on the finish line.

Valentiine's Day Craft: Pom Pom Love Bugs

The Art of Dawn: Sticks & Stones

We will be using art supplies like yarn, paint and model magic to create natural materials into a colorful sculpture. Design and paint rocks to complete this zen-themed hour while listening to relaxing music. Open to Young Adults in 5th through 12th grade. WPL Y.A. Chess Club

Come and develop your strategic skills and challenge a new opponent. Young Adults in grades 5—12 are welcome to play chess against our chess mentor Mr. J or each other.
